MediCenter’s own Aaron Lyman is captured talking with Serena Lee, a Soldotna high school student about her future in the medical field. MediCenter has a strong history in training new individuals entering the Medical Field.

Being a leader for primary care in the Kenai Penninsula enables our location to help train future Medical Assistants and staff to work to the highest ability of their license. Our major turnover is from our Medical Assistants taking advantage of higher education becoming Registered Nurses and Physican Assistants.

Kenai and Soldotna ranked 31st in well-being

If you didn’t, someone did! MediCenter wants to share the results from a State by State rating in 2012’s annual Gallup-Health-ways Well-Being Index.

The survey is based on residents’ responses about physical health, best sense of overall well-being, job satisfaction and other factors that affect quality of life.

Expert Pain Management Doctor in Kenai!

Andrea Trescot, MD is past president of the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians (ASIPP), a former professor at the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington, and previous director of the Pain Fellowship Programs at the University of Washington and the University of Florida. She graduated from the Medical University of South Carolina, with internship and residency in Anesthesia at Bethesda Naval Hospital and a Fellowship in Pediatric Anesthesia at National Children’s Hospital in Washington.
